If you carefully read anything in this Proud Rhino lift rod walk-through, please let it be this next portion of instruction.

You are about to work on an air suspension system.  This system- without warning- can instantly depressurize.  When this happens, the truck is coming down whether you like it or not.  Be mindful of all pinch points

If you have access to a lift then by all means use it.  If not, don't worry. These rods are pretty straightforward and easily accessible without a lift.  Remove one tire at a time so you can gain better access to the height sensors.  As you go from one tire to the next, remove the old height sensor rods and replace them with a proud Rhino rod.

Here are some detailed pictures on what you should be looking for and how to go about it.

The first thing I like to do is spray down all of the existing rods with PB blaster.

Don't be shy with the lube.......  It always helps.

I also spray down the Proud Rhino lift rods.

I like to use a trim tool but I have also done it with a flat blade screwdriver.

All you need to do is separate the original rods from the height sensor arm and then the metal tab on the frame.

Here's a picture of all the rods together for reference  The shorter ones with a twist are for the front and the longer ones that are straight are meant for the rear.

Finally, install the Proud Rhino rods by just sliding them over the height sensor and frame mounts in that order.

Now with some Atturo MT's and Lucky8 18" rims.
